THE FIREBOX Thursday, July 2nd, 2009 Good morning. Wednesday was pretty good here in East Liverpool, in spite of a few raindrops here and there. It was a bit cooler, too. I am hoping that the rain is not going to be giving us a surprise visit on Saturday. The Fourth of July is supposed to be nice and sunny, after all. According to the weatherman, we're to get rain thru Friday and then Saturday is to be partly cloudy. Of course they seem to change the extended forecast from day to day. Enjoy. (Click the picture to see the card) Today's joke, from Jim: A woman arrived at a party and while scanning the guests, spotted an attractive man standing alone. She approached him, smiled and said, "Hello. My name is Carmen." "That's a beautiful name," he replied. "Is it a family name?" "No," she replied. As a matter of fact I gave it to myself. It represents the things that I enjoy the most - cars and men. Therefore, I chose Carmen. What's your name?" He answered "Handel Titsenstuff." *S* To view any back issues of the Newsletter, click on the link below Back Issues Click below to visit the site:
